All students and attendees of Karate So are expected to follow these codes of conduct.

Respect the Dojo
The dojo is a place of learning and self-improvement. Students should always behave respectfully inside the training area and treat the dojo, instructors, and fellow students with care and appreciation.

Bowing
Students are expected to bow when entering and leaving the dojo, before working with a partner, and at the beginning and end of class. Bowing is a sign of respect, gratitude, and humility.

Arrive on Time
Students should arrive a few minutes early, ready to train. Being punctual shows discipline and respect for instructors and classmates.

Listen and Stay Focused
When instructors are speaking, students should remain quiet, attentive, and focused. Following instructions carefully helps everyone train safely and effectively.

Respect Others
Students should always encourage teammates and treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of age or skill level. Bullying, disrespectful behavior, or inappropriate language are never acceptable.

Self-Control Outside the Dojo
Karate skills should only be used for self-defense and protection. Students are expected to demonstrate respect, discipline, and good behavior both inside and outside the dojo.Karate is more than martial arts — it is a path to building confidence, leadership, discipline, and strong character for life.
